Is it in a bad neighborhood?
Updated: Feb 26
Last week I was working with destination bride. She lives far away, but she is getting married in Savannah - not unlike most of our clients. We spoke on the phone about many of the wedding details and i enjoyed getting to know her better! One thing was bothering her... she didn't know what the area around the church looked like. We met at their reception venue in December, but at that time they did not have a church chosen for the ceremony. They have one now, but she has never been there and won't be back until the wedding. The longer we spoke, the more I could tell that this was making her uneasy. She wanted to know if the church was in a bad neighborhood, if the street was unkempt, if it was in an unattractive section of Savannah. Well, I don't think there are many unattractive areas of this beautiful town, but I understood her concern. So... I told her that I would go there... right then... and send her some photos. I took photos of the church, the streets, the area, just to ease her mind.
That's what we do. We are the eyes and ears here in Savannah for our destination brides. We listen, and we advise for our event management clients. Our full service clients receive not only our advice, but also our design and vendor selection expertise. We want our brides to enjoy every moment of the experience... from engagement to the honeymoon. Know someone who just got engaged? Send them our way. We will take care of them!
